The saddlecloth carried to Grand National victory this year by Tiger Roll is being auctioned off to raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS).

Signed by winning jockey Davy Russell, the saddlecloth, which bears the victor’s name and number, has been framed alongside pictures of Aintree and an official racecard.

The piece was donated by ex-jockey Steve Charlton, now the National Hunt jockeys’ valet in the north, who also donated 2017 winner One For Arthur’s saddlecloth last year, which raised £2,700.
