Gordon Elliott has got the better of Willie Mullins in two tight finishes to big races in recent weeks, with General Principle beating Isleofhopendreams by a head in the BoyleSports Irish Grand National and Tiger Roll holding Pleasant Company by the same margin at Aintree last weekend.

It could be an omen for what is going to be another close finish this week when Elliott will be attempting to hold off his rival in the race for the trainers' championship at Punchestown.
