'Gosden could still have the value bet' - Coral's James Knight on the Arc market
Trainers Oliver Cole, Ed Crisford and Paddy Twomey answer the key questions
If you had to pick the Arc winner now who would it be?
Oliver Cole, trainer It would have to be Love. She was mightily impressive in the Oaks and she really looks like there is more to come. If that wasn’t enough she gets the weight allowance and fillies have a good recent record in the race with the likes of Danedream, Zarkava, Treve and Enable.
Ed Crisford, trainer There is a lot of racing to be done before then but Love looked a class act in the Oaks and at this stage I would favour her quality and potential to progress further over Enable’s brilliance.
James Knight, Coral I know she probably needed the run, but I was disappointed with Enable’s Eclipse run and think she looks vulnerable. John Gosden could still have the value bet in the race however as I was impressed with Mishriff in the Prix du Jockey Club. His sire Make Believe is really taking off and I think this horse would be suited by the likely conditions.
