Would you expect Lincoln winner Addeybb to cut the mustard in Group races?
Mick Appleby, trainer He was very impressive in a really competitive Lincoln, but the ground was absolutely desperate and he probably coped with it best. He’s definitely a Group horse on soft going, but he’s got to prove it on quicker ground.
George Baker, trainer Addeybb was mighty impressive and could be called the winner a long way out. He looked the epitome of a Group horse masquerading as a handicapper, and looks more than capable of making his mark at a higher level. He’s the easiest winner of the Lincoln I’ve ever seen.
Nicola Currie, jockey Yes. Addeybb won a very competitive Lincoln nicely off a rating of 99. On that basis he should definitely hold his own in Group 3 company, especially on soft ground.
