Failing to back USPGA champ would not be end of the world
I spend a lot of my life worrying about Kims – the golfing world is bursting at the seams with ruddy Kims – but it seems I have been focusing on the wrong one.
On the US Tour, Si Woo Kim is a superstar in the making, while Michael Kim and Whee Kim are also talented youngsters. Kyung-tae Kim and Chan Kim make a good living on the Japan Tour, while Sihwan Kim is successful on the Challenge Tour.
Every golfing Kim is in peril, though, if Kim Jong Un gets a bit carried away in the weeks ahead. All this talk of imminent armageddon is rather troubling, wouldn't you say? It is unsettling when you sit down to assess the chance of Si Woo Kim making an impact in the USPGA with his golf ball just as Kim Jong Un is threatening to make an impact on the US with his nuclear missile.
