Extremity tests the limit of our endurance with another flop at Ascot

Pete Shemilt with the highs and lows of being a syndicate member

After the injury disappointments of recent weeks, and with no action on the track until the last two days, I have been looking forward to the rest of the season and the prospects of the seven syndicate horses I still have in training with Hugo Palmer.

One of the reasons I chose to buy a share in the horse was my admiration for the consistent and enduring racecourse exploits of her sire. The other was Hugo's comments that she reminds him of Making Eyes, a filly who won him a Listed race very early in his career.
