Explore Racing day at Newmarket attracts largest ever attendance
The Explore Racing day at Newmarket attracted its largest ever attendance with over 100 young people from across Britain gathering for the Careers In Racing-backed event.
Held on Friday, August 23, the aim was to highlight the range of career opportunities available in racing while also showcasing the industry to new audiences.
Those in attendance travelled to Newmarket from the likes of London, Leicester and Milton Keynes, and the day included a tour of the British Racing School and a fitness session with instructors. A careers talk was also held with insight provided from current students.
