One of Pat Eddery's daughters has produced a tribute to her father by painting a portrait of the legendary jockey on his first Derby winner Grundy.

The work will be a centrepiece of an exhibition by Nichola Eddery, a renowned fine artist and leading exponent of racing and equine paintings, which will open at the Osborne Studio Gallery in London on Wednesday and run until December 3.

Eddery, the 11-time British champion jockey, died in November last year when his daughter was putting together a collection for the show.
