Work hard, play hard, and be as nice as possible to everyone you meet.

What is your earliest racing memory?
Watching my father Cyril come into the old winner's enclosure at Aintree on a black and white TV after winning the 1966 Fox Hunters' with a horse called Subaltern ridden by John Oaksey.

Would you rather win the Cheltenham Gold Cup or be champion trainer?
The Gold Cup as I doubt I would enjoy training the number of horses required to be champion trainer.
