Cork trainer John Murphy is counting Dundalk as probably his favourite track at the moment, such has the form been of his horses there over the autumn and winter, and there was plenty to like about the debut performance of this daughter of Holy Roman Emperor at the first of the two meetings there last week.

She was reluctant to be loaded and got upset in the stalls, and that may have lit her up, as she raced towards the head of the pace and might have run the finish out of herself. She wasn’t beaten far and was in contention for place money when being squeezed inside the last.

Chances are that a few winners will come out of this maiden, and this half-sister to 2,000 Guineas third Ivawood can be among them.
