Win My Wings, an unknown eight-year-old at this time last year, was a runaway seven-length heroine of the Ayr race and (perhaps) the ideal warm-up act for Snow Leopardess, widely fancied for Saturday's Grand National, when she seeks to become the first mare to land the Aintree spectacular since Nickel Coin in 1951.
