Colin Keane maintains relentless pace with 79 more rides than title rival

Colin Keane's relentless pursuit of a second jockeys' title was never more evident than in the third quarter of this year during which the table-topper had 294 rides, 79 more than defending champion Donnacha O'Brien.

Oisin Murphy might have had the British championship wrapped up long ago, but the Irish equivalent is still very much up for grabs with Keane leading O'Brien by 93 winners to 90.

With 16 winners in July, 13 in August and 15 in September, Keane's 44 winners during the third quarter of 2019 has helped him keep O'Brien at bay with less than a month to go in the race.
