It is half-time in the British point-to-point season, and it would be fair to say the big teams are a couple of goals up and looking comfortable.

The five-time British men's champion Will Biddick rode four winners last weekend, and with 21 successes is sitting cosy at the head of the Fuller's men's championship, seven clear of an emerging three-strong chasing pack.
