Betting shops join Scottish campaign to tackle violence against women

Local politicians in Inverness and Dingwall have joined forces with betting shop staff in a campaign to tackle violence against women.

The campaign is being coordinated by ABB Scotland, the trade association for high street bookmakers, and is the latest example of industry involvement in social issues in Scotland.

Staff from bookmakers including William Hill, Ladbrokes and Paddy Power will take part in the week-long campaign in support of the charity White Ribbon Scotland, which aims to end gender-based violence.
