Betdaq say they are seeing the benefits of more aggressive marketing as they bid to increase their market share against dominant betting exchange Betfair.

The company went to a two per cent commission rate earlier this year and have increased their sponsorship portfolio including a deal with Sunderland football club, while in August they launched a television advertising campaign fronted by actor Ralph Ineson for their #ChangingfortheBettor strategy.

And while Betdaq will remain a betting exchange there are plans for them to launch a sportsbook, just as Betfair have.
