Is Saturday’s Kempton winner Barbados Buck’s a leading player in the Albert Bartlett?

Daryl Jacob, jockey The Albert Bartlett looks wide open, so you’d have to think he’d be a player. His performance on Saturday showed he’s very much a horse on the upgrade and although he would need to improve again there’s no reason to think he can’t.

Martin Keighley, trainer I think he’d have to improve dramatically as his two previous wins have been in Class 4 races at Southwell. He won well on Saturday but I’d question how strong the form is as the second and third are still maidens over hurdles.

James Knight, Coral I think he did enough to be considered a potential runner. The bare form would be at least 20lb short of what would be required to win a typical Albert Bartlett, but he’s in good hands and is progressing well, so it’s not impossible.
