Martin Tedham, 61, is originally from the Borders but is now based near Cirencester in Gloucestershire. His Wasdell Group sponsors Jonjo O'Neill's Jackdaws Castle stables where his horses are now trained.

I've been an owner for 18 years now and it all came about when I went to the sales with my friend Steve Ryan, who has a lot of horses on the Flat. He was calling me tight and said I should buy a horse, but I knew nothing about them.
