Frosted was cut to 4-1 second favourite (from 6) for the Breeders' Cup Classic by British bookmakers after bolstering his reputation as one of the best horses in the world with an impressive two-length win in the Grade 1 Whitney Stakes at Saratoga on Saturday.

The Godolphin four-year-old had produced a sensational performance to win the Met Mile by 14 lengths on his previous outing and showed that effort was not a one-off when justifying odds-on favouritism against a field that included Grade 1 winners Effinex and Noble Bird.
