Gordon Elliott is preparing some of his most powerful stars for Down Royal's two-day festival, with the exciting pair American Mike and Mighty Potter set to make their eagerly-awaited reappearances at the track.

Recently the trainer has dominated the Ladbrokes Festival of Racing, which takes place on November 4 and 5, winning a staggering 15 of the 28 races over the last two years.

Mighty Potter, who signed off last season with a Grade 1 win at the Punchestown festival in the Champion Novice Hurdle, is expected to rank highly among the Irish novice chasers this season.
