Envoi Allen and Summerville Boy rack up the points for Ten To Follow teams
Envoi Allen became the highest scoring horse in the Tote Ten To Follow competition not to have won a bonus race with his Grade 1 victory at Naas on Sunday.
Cheveley Park Stud's exciting five-year-old picked up 27.1 points for that win to take his total to 54.7, much to the delight of 18 of the top 20 list-compilers who have the most-picked novice in their stable.
Summerville Boy was the biggest early January scorer with his 10-1 win in the Relkeel Hurdle. His Tote return of £9.20 earned 12.5 extra points to add to the 20 for his Grade 2 success.
Midnight Shadow was one of only two other horses to score more than 20 points, notching 26.4 with his Cheltenham win in the Dipper. That came at the expense of those who had selected falling favourite Champ in their stable (around 27 per cent of players).
The other Ten To Follow horses to win were Burrows Saint (20.8), Gala Ball (17.3), Al Boum Photo (16.4), Cash Back (15.5), Cat Tiger (13.4) and King Roland (12.4).
Three stables have made a bold bid for the January prize by racking up 75.9 points already, with the aforementioned Envoi Allen and Summerville Boy complementing the 16.3 points picked up by Al Boum Photo for his win at Tramore.
