Crack novice hurdler Envoi Allen will face a key workout on Wednesday morning before a decision is made on his participation at the Dublin Racing Festival, Gordon Elliott has revealed.

Envoi Allen, one of jump racing's rising stars, was taken out of the PCI-sponsored Irish Champion Hurdle on Tuesday, with Elliott revealing a tilt at either the Nathaniel Lacy & Partners-sponsored 2m6f novice hurdle or the 2m Chanelle Parma Novice Hurdle was on the cards for his unbeaten youngster.

Elliott said on Tuesday: "We left Envoi Allen in the two novice races but we'll work him in the morning before making a decision about whether he runs or not.
