Enable in Arc 'attack' mode and ready to build on fine reappearance
Connections of Enable are ready to "attack the summit" of the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe once more after her encouraging return to action in the Group 1 Coral-Eclipse nine days ago.
The remarkable six-year-old finished two and a quarter lengths behind Ghaiyyath on her comeback and is treading a familiar path from Sandown to the Qipco-backed King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot on July 25, which she is the 6-4 ante-post favourite to win for a record third time.
The John Gosden-trained mare has moved with all her usual zest during routine canters on Warren Hill in Newmarket following her return, and her whole season revolves around trying for a second time to win a historic third Arc in October.
