As temperatures were forecast to hit 34C in west Suffolk on Wednesday many trainers elected to pull out up to an hour earlier to combat the heat which was already up to 25C by the time the King George favourite waltzed up the Al Bahathri at 8.10am. Frankie Dettori was motionless on the five-year-old as she breezed seven furlongs.
