Dunlops set to pitch stable stars into September Stakes
The Group 3 Totescoop6 September Stakes at Kempton on Saturday could turn into a family affair with Harry Dunlop looking to get his stable star Robin Of Navan back on track after injury in the same race his brother Ed is considering for Trip To Paris.
Robin Of Navan picked up a niggle when finishing 11th in the Prix du Jockey Club, some 12 lengths behind Almanzor, and has not been seen since the first week of June. But Harry Dunlop revealed yesterday he is ready to return to the track.
"He's in the Prix Niel on Sunday as well and I'll look at how both races develop through the week," he said. "Obviously Harzand is in the Niel as well and we're somewhat waiting to see what happens on that front, but he seems in good form. We're back from an injury and looking to get him back on the track, and Kempton would be a nice place to do it."
