Millisle is set to return to sprinting for the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot next week after failing to fire over a mile in the Qipco 1,000 Guineas and Jessica Harrington remains convinced she can still be a star.

Sent off joint-second favourite along with the winner Love at 4-1, last year's Cheveley Park winner lost her position at halfway and could never land a blow under Oisin Murphy, eventually finishing seventh.

However, Harrington thinks there were valid excuses for the below-par effort and is looking forward to having a crack at the Commonwealth Cup.
