Don Poli out to seal Foxhunter berth as owner Yates eyes more festival glory

Don Poli returns to point-to-point action on Saturday in a bid to secure qualification for the Foxhunter at the Cheltenham Festival.

The three-time Grade 1 winner marked his comeback by winning a point-to-point at Alnwick last month, his first victory in four years, and lines up at the same track with a chance to cement his place in the hunter chase showpiece.

Qualification is assured by winning two open point-to-points and the 11-year-old, who finished 19th in the Grand National last year before being pulled up at the Punchestown festival, is a best priced 25-1 shot for the Foxhunter.
