The Irish Grand National has been conquered and now Dermot McLoughlin has his eyes on Aintree's big one for Freewheelin Dylan.

The 150-1 outsider of the 28 runners, who had a Betfair SP of 311-1 and paid €232.10 for a €1 win on the Tote, created history by becoming the biggest-priced winner in the history of Ireland's richest jumps race, but McLoughlin has already turned his attention to trying to win the Grand National at Aintree.

"You'd have to start thinking about the English National for him now, that's where I'll be aiming him next year," McLoughlin told the Racing Post on Tuesday.
