Derby and Oaks clues aplenty as leading trainer holds his own trials morning

Late Derby and Oaks clues were to be found all across town on Wednesday morning, most notably on the Rowley Mile racecourse where Haggas was to be found after breakfast. His leading fancy was partnered by Jim Crowley in a nine-furlong exercise with older pair Faylaq (Cieren Fallon) and Ilaraab (Tom Marquand), the trio finishing almost upsides. With a favourable forecast, connections are hoping the ground at Epsom dries out before Saturday week as the son of Frankel prefers it quick.
