Minella Indo may have lost the battle but chasing home Conflated in the Paddy Power Irish Gold Cup has put him back on track to win the war according to trainer Henry de Bromhead and rider Robbie Power.

Last year's Cheltenham Gold Cup hero had plenty of questions to answer at Leopardstown after being pulled up in the King George and was out to 7-1 to defend his crown next month.

However, having finished six and a half lengths behind Conflated, he is now just 4-1 with Paddy Power to win back-to-back runnings of the Gold Cup.
