Deity fresher than me after poor draw on gruelling flight

With relief we touched down in South Korea late on Wednesday morning. The draw was unkind to me as I was next to a baby on the flight and managed to get only an hour’s sleep, so my first day in Seoul has been a bit of a blur.

After getting checked in at the hotel we headed off to quarantine with Beverly Millard, wife of Hong Kong trainer Tony Millard, who runs Super Jockey in the sprint on Sunday.

I was really pleased with Solar Deity’s condition when we got there. He’s put on 12lb since his flight and has been drinking plenty so he’s nicely hydrated.
