Deauville date for Galileo Gold and Ribchester

Galileo Gold and Ribchester, last seen finishing placed in the Sussex Stakes at Goodwood, are on course to renew their rivalry in Sunday's Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville.

Eleven horses remain in contention for the Group 1 over a mile, including five trained in Britain. Galileo Gold and Ribchester are joined by Qatar Racing's Arod and Lightning Spear, along with Prix Jean Prat runner-up Stormy Antarctic.

Galileo Gold is the evens favourite with Paddy Power, with Ribchester next in the market at 5-2.
