The Racing Partnership and TurfTV have announced an agreement to share satellite infrastructure across the existing estate of TurfTV, independent bookmaker customers in Britain and licensed betting offices in Ireland.

The joint approach ensures there is no requirement for most independent betting offices to install additional satellite dishes, should they subscribe to TRP once it launches tomorrow.

It is also understood TRP will continue the agreement to use shared infrastructure beyond March 2018 – when TurfTV's deal with the Racecourse Media Group ends. TRP will also continue to initiate deals directly with bookmakers while seeking to ensure shared use of infrastructure across British and Irish betting shops.
