Silvestre de Sousa struck back at Jim Crowley in the jockeys' title race with a treble at Leicester on Tuesday as the pair's battle rumbled on, but the reigning champion insists he is relaxed about defending his crown.

Recent momentum appeared to be with the challenger Crowley as he opened up a lead of five winners heading into Tuesday's racing, with bookmakers going no bigger than 1-3 about him landing a first title.
