Henry de Bromhead looks set on taking the wraps off Identity Thief this weekend, as the Grade 1-winning hurdler is an intended runner in a two-mile beginners' chase at Punchestown on Saturday.

The son of Kayf Tara scored at the highest level last term when winning the Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle and De Bromhead is looking forward to sending the Gigginstown star over fences for the first time this weekend, providing the ground conditions are suitable for the six-year-old.

"He's exciting. We're looking forward to getting a run into him and as long as the ground is suitable enough he should line out," the trainer said.
