David Probert and Hoo Ya Mal reunited as they prepare for tilt at St Leger

David Probert put in a rare appearance on the Newmarket gallops on Wednesday morning to be reunited with his Cazoo St Leger mount Hoo Ya Mal, whom he last rode to finish second at 150-1 in the Derby.

George Boughey’s recent March Stakes winner breezed a steady mile on the Cambridge Road Polytrack after which the rider said he "wouldn’t swap him" at Doncaster on Saturday.

Boughey is seeking a second Classic victory of the season, and Hoo Ya Mal is in good hands as he is looked after by Jordan McMurray, who enjoyed Group 1 success with sprinter Dream Of Dreams in his days with Sir Michael Stoute.
