Dancing Star, well-backed second favourite for the Qatar Stewards' Cup tomorrow, filled the last place in the 28-strong field declared yesterday.

Jeff Smith's homebred filly had her 6lb penalty for her Newmarket win at the start of the month to thank for scraping in, and was then picked out of the pot early in the draw ceremony. She will start from stall 4.

'Go low' was the thought uppermost in minds as the draw was made in the Goodwood winner's enclosure before racing.
