Harrington: losing the Classics would be frightening, but life is more important

Jessica Harrington has admitted the loss of any of this season's Classics, would be a galling blow as the trainer has her best ever crop of three-year-olds, but knows such concerns are relatively trivial during the coronavirus outbreak.

Harrington, who took it upon herself to self isolate for two weeks after the Cheltenham Festival, has a host of potential stars in the yard, and admits it is a frightening prospect to lose some of the highlights of the Flat turf season.

She said on Saturday: “Look, for me it's quite frightening, because I have those nice Flat horses this year. I am just wondering when they will run, or even if they will run, any of the Classics this year.
