Emmet Mullins outlines early-season target for Grand National hero Noble Yeats

The newly sponsored Coral Gold Cup is the early-season target for shock 50-1 Grand National winner Noble Yeats, and his performance in the big Newbury handicap will dictate which route he will take for the rest of the season according to trainer Emmet Mullins.

Noble Yeats won the Grand National in what was his first season over fences and in doing so became the first seven-year-old to win the world's most famous jumps race since Bogskar in 1940.

Given his age and profile, there is still every chance he could be even better this season, and Mullins and owner Robert Waley-Cohen have pencilled in the Coral Gold Cup on November 26 as an ideal fact-finding mission.
