Dusart, ante-post favourite for the Coral Gold Cup at Newbury this month, has been scratched from the historic handicap chase by trainer Nicky Henderson with the seven-year-old not yet at his peak.

However, the leading trainer is preparing to take the wraps off a host of his biggest and best names in the coming weeks with the likes of Epatante, Constitution Hill and Chantry House scheduled to make their seasonal debuts before the end of the month.

Owned by Ronnie Bartlett, Dusart ended last season with victory at Ayr's Scottish Grand National meeting, and had been a general 7-1 shot for the Coral Gold Cup.
