Connections of Emily Upjohn say she "will have to be at her very best" in the Juddmonte Irish Oaks at the Curragh on Saturday.

A lot of water has gone under the bridge since her unlucky Oaks Epsom second to Tuesday - who has not been declared for Saturday's race - including the sale of a half-share in her to Watership Down Stud and a stable rift, but all seems good with the daughter of Sea The Stars.

After Epsom, where she did things the hard way after stumbling at the start under Frankie Dettori, John and Thady Gosden had toyed with the idea of going for the Group 2 Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot but decided a 12-day turnaround was too soon.
