Confirmed runners and riders for the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury

Royal Ascot runners Get It and Happy Romance are among a field of 25 for the Weatherbys Super Sprint (2.50) at Newbury on Sunday.

The Clive Cox-trained Get It was fourth in the Windsor Castle Stakes behind Tactical and is a general 6-1 second favourite behind Happy Romance, who is as short as 4-1 after her Queen Mary fifth.

They are drawn alongside each other in stalls 15 and 16 and the last five winners of the 5f contest broke from stall 13 or higher, with 2019 winner Bettys Hope striking from stall 25.

There are a number of lightly raced sprinters in the field including the Michael Bell-trained Lullaby Moon, who won convincingly on his debut at Goodwood last month when trained by Joe Tuite.

A high-quality field of 16 will also head to Newbury for the Listed bet365 Steventon Stakes (3.25), won last year by Fox Chairman.

Trainer Andrew Balding is represented this year by Fox Tal, a general 7-2 favourite ahead of the William Haggas-trained Faylaq.

Royal Intervention back for more

Royal Intervention will bid for back-to-back successes in the Group 3 William Hill Summer Fillies' Stakes (3.05) at York on Sunday.

The four-year-old one of 19 declarations, including Jovial, a general 11-4 favourite for trainer Sir Michael Stoute and Ryan Moore.

It is an open race with the Sir Mark Prescott-trained Miss Celestial, who beat Billesdon Brook in a Listed contest last time, and Royal Ascot runner Breathtaking Look also prominent in the market.

The action at York also includes the Listed William Hill King Charles II Stakes (1.55), which has attracted nine runners including Boccaccio, who is unbeaten in three starts for Charlie Appleby.
