Confirmed runners and riders for the Darley Yorkshire Oaks on Thursday

Top-class mare Alpinista will take on six rivals in her quest for a first domestic Group 1 in Thursday's Darley Yorkshire Oaks (3.35), with Irish challengers Magical Lagoon, Tuesday and La Petite Coco declared for the race.

Kirsten Rausing's filly is unbeaten in her last six starts, recording three top-level wins in Germany last season and returning this campaign with an emphatic victory in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud last month.

A Group 1 prize in Britain still eludes her but she did chase home the long odds-on favourite Love in this race two years ago, and is the 2-1 favourite for the contest.

She will have to beat the winners of the English and Irish Oaks. Epsom heroine Tuesday is back against her own sex following a disappointing fourth in the Irish Derby. Tuesday will be Aidan O'Brien's only runner.

The steadily improving Magical Lagoon, successful at Royal Ascot before enjoying a Classic breakthrough at the Curragh, is considered the biggest threat to Alpinista according to the bookies.

La Petite Coco is another big name in the line-up, with the four-year-old vying for a five-timer following victory in the Pretty Polly Stakes in June.

Lilac Road, for William Haggas and Tom Marquand, Poptronic and French raider Raclette complete the field.

Dramatised set for Mawj match up

Exciting two-year-old Dramatised bids for back-to-back Group 2 wins in the Sky Bet Lowther Stakes (1.50), which opens Thursday's card.

Described by Karl Burke as "the quickest two-year-old I've ever trained" after her impressive Queen Mary win at Royal Ascot, there were noises about the filly potentially going for the Nunthorpe Stakes. However, Dramatised takes her place in the £267,500 juvenile contest where she leads the market with Mawj nearest in the betting.

Burke and Dramatised's jockey Daniel Tudhope combined to win the race in 2019 with Living In The Past and will face 13 rivals including Lady Hollywood, who was supplemented at a cost of £20,000 by Alice Haynes.

Aidan O'Brien's unbeaten Albany winner Meditate and Keeneland Stakes scorer Lezoo, who was just beaten by Mawj in a Newmarket Group 2 in July, were the most notable of the four taken out at the final declaration stage on Tuesday.
