Confirmed runners and riders for the 2022 Savills Chase - plus a free bet
Cheltenham Gold Cup winner A Plus Tard heads a field of eight runners for the Savills Chase (2.20) at Leopardstown on Wednesday.
The winner of this race in 2020, A Plus Tard was last seen when pulling up at Haydock last month, an effort which has since been put down to a travel-related illness.
Doubts had been cast over whether the Cheveley Park-owned eight-year-old would be seen over the festive period, but trainer Henry de Bromhead has made the call, with A Plus Tard bidding for a potential fifth Grade 1 victory.
Among his rivals will be last year's winner Galvin, who will be ridden by Sam Ewing. Gordon Elliott has two other runners in Grade 1 winner Conflated, who will be partnered by Jack Kennedy, and Fury Road.
Champion trainer Willie Mullins has declared three runners with Paul Townend riding Kemboy, who won the race in 2018. Brian Hayes partners Royal Rendezvous, while Danny Mullins will ride Franco De Port, whose sole Grade 1 victory came at Leopardstown in 2020. The field is completed by the Mouse Morris-trained French Dynamite.

Jessica Harrington's Ashdale Bob, Oliver McKiernan's Meet and Greet and the Noel Meade-trained Beacon Edge complete the field.
The 2021 Grand National winner Minella Times is set to make his seasonal reappearance in the Pertemps Network Qualifier (1.10), as one of four declared for Henry de Bromhead. Gordon Elliott has a team of ten for the 28-runner race.
I Am Maximus will will make a second outing for Willie Mullins in the Ballymaloe Relish Beginners Chase (2.55), while French recruit Ile Atlantique will make his stable debut in the concluding bumper (3.30).
