Confirmed runners and riders for Sunday's Old Roan Chase at Aintree
Aintree runner-up Hitman will make his seasonal return at the same course on Sunday after he featured among eight declarations for the Jewson St Helens Old Roan Handicap Chase (2.40).
The Paul Nicholls-trained six-year-old failed to win last season and also finished second behind stablemate Greaneteen in the Tingle Creek Chase, before his Aintree run behind Fakir D'Oudairies in the Marsh Chase.
Hitman is reunited with Nicholls' stable jockey Harry Cobden in the 2m4f contest, having been ridden by Lorcan Williams last time, and was also third in the Manifesto Novices' Chase over course-and-distance in 2021.
Millers Bank, the winner of this year's Manifesto, makes his comeback but needs to bounce back from a disappointing run at the Punchestown festival, while impressive Ayr Grade 2 winner Do Your Job also has his first run of the Campaign.
The Classy Ga Law, who has not been seen for 603 days, is also among the eight as well as 2020 Ascot Chase winner Riders Onthe Storm, who has not won since that top-level triumph.
At Limerick, a maximum field of 16 and three reserves have been declared for the JT McNamara Ladbrokes Munster National (3.35), which is headed by topweight and 2020 Galway Plate hero Early Doors.
The 3m Grade A handicap chase is one of three races from the track that will be broadcast live on ITV4, with four races from Aintree, including the Old Roan Chase, on the channel too.
