Confirmed runners and riders for Saturday's Irish Oaks at the Curragh
Cayenne Pepper is among eight fillies set for Saturday's Juddmonte Irish Oaks after Thursday's declarations, with Fancy Blue and Peaceful – the Prix de Diane first and third – absent from the final field.
The Jessica Harrington-trained Cayenne Pepper was runner-up to Magical in the Pretty Polly Stakes, and is now 2-1 joint-favourite with Paddy Power for Classic glory this weekend.
Oaks second Ennistymon is the other market principal with the bookmaker and spearheads a four-strong attack for Aidan O'Brien, with Wayne Lordan taking the ride.
The Ballydoyle trainer, who will aim to equal Sir Michael Stoute's record of six wins in the race (7.15), is also represented by Munster Oaks winner Snow, recent Naas Oaks Trial runner-up Laburnum and Ribblesdale third Passion.
Ger Lyons will have two contenders as he attempts to win his second Irish Classic, saddling improving Naas Oaks Trial winner Even So, the choice of Colin Keane, and Munster Oaks fourth Yaxeni, ridden by Gary Carroll.
The Joseph O'Brien-trained Irish 1,000 Guineas fourth New York Girl, who finished seventh in the Irish Derby after being supplemented to take on the colts, will try to get back to winning ways against her own sex.

There is a possibility of light showers on Friday at the Curragh before Saturday's Group 1 action, with a strong Group 2 undercard also on offer with the GAIN Railway Stakes (6.45), Paddy Power Minstrel Stakes (6.15) and Comer Group International Curragh Cup (4.45).
Curragh clerk of the course Brendan Sheridan said on Thursday: "The ground has tightened a fraction. The round course is now good, while the straight course is good, good-to-yielding in places.
"We're racing on the middle track, the stalls will be in the centre for all sprints."
He added: "Having spoken to Met Eireann, it'll be mainly dry today [Thursday] with the possibility of light showers tomorrow [Friday]."
