Confirmed runners and riders for Irish Gold Cup and Scilly Isles Novices' Chase
Kemboy, Delta Work and Presenting Percy are among nine declarations for the Paddy Power Irish Gold Cup (3.30) at Leopardstown on Sunday as the trio – all 11-1 or shorter for the Cheltenham Gold Cup – put their claims on the line.
Kemboy finished last season as joint-highest rated chaser in the Anglo-Irish ratings after his two-length defeat of Gold Cup winner Al Boum Photo in the Punchestown Gold Cup, but Delta Work looked a coming force when third in a red-hot renewal of the RSA Chase at last year's festival, form that was advertised again last weekend by Santini.
He has a Grade 1 win already against five of his rivals with Kemboy getting the closest when a three-and-a-half length fourth in the Savills Chase over course and distance at Christmas. Presenting Percy, Jett, last year's Irish Gold Cup hero Bellshill and Anibale Fly all finished in behind in that order.
Cadmium, Chris's Dream and La Bague Au Roi complete the field with 2017 winner Sizing John the only absentee.

Two unbeaten novice chasers with different profiles, the 12-year-old ten-time Grade 1 winner Faugheen and the seven-year-old Battleoverdoyen, who has had as many starts under rules as his age, meet in the seven-runner Grade 1 Flogas Novice Chase (3.00).
Aspire Tower is a 1-2 shot with ten declared for the Grade 1 Tattersalls Ireland Spring Juvenile Hurdle (1.25), while Easywork and Mt Leinster head the eight declared for the Grade 1 Chanelle Pharma Novice Hurdle (1.55), which has been won recently by Dunguib, Champagne Fever, Vautour, Nichols Canyon, Samcro and Klassical Dream.
There was an Irish feel to the Sandown declarations too after Nico de Boinville picked up the ride on Laurina, who was confirmed among the seven for the Grade 1 Betway Scilly Isles Novices' Chase (2.25) with a host of talented horses in opposition.
Call Me Lord is heavily odds-on for the Listed Betway Contenders Hurdle (1.50) in which Eldorado Allen and Quel Destin also feature among the five declarations.
