Harry Cobden will ride out for Paul Nicholls on Friday for the first time since he broke his neck in a race fall in June.

Cobden, the new first jockey to the ten-times champion jumps trainer, received clearance to step up his recovery after his consultant examined the latest scans of the injury

As a result the 19-year-old rider has his sights set on taking his first racecourse rides next month once he has regained full race-riding fitness.
