Cieren Fallon is raring to go for an exciting season when he makes his return from a brief spell on the sidelines at Catterick on Wednesday.

The dual champion apprentice suffered a heavy fall at Lingfield on April 10 and, while he rode on the first day of the three-day Craven meeting at Newmarket, he has been out of action since.

The absence meant Fallon missed the chance to be reunited with his breakthrough Group 1 winner Oxted when he finished second in the Abernant Stakes on the Rowley Mile last week, partnered by Ryan Moore.
