Chris's Dream looks one for the team in Tote Ten to Follow transfer window

It is an important week for Tote Ten to Follow players, providing an opportunity for two tactical switches which could make all the difference to team tallies at the spring festivals.

Forty horses have been added to the competition and players have until 5pm on Monday March 9, Cheltenham eve, to make their substitutions. Here are five who are worthy of consideration with bonus points and big-race action in mind before the competition's final day on April 25.

Chris’s Dream
This Henry de Bromhead-trained eight-year-old dotted up in Navan's Troytown Handicap Chase from a mark of 146 before a Grade 2 victory in the Red Mills Chase at Gowran. He is improving and looks a legitimate Gold Cup dark horse.

Darver Star
Gavin Cromwell is not one to target a Grade 1 unless he feels a horse is well up to it. Darver Star is improving and was not far from nailing bonus points in the Irish Champion Hurdle. A tilt at Unibet Champion Hurdle glory now beckons and last year’s winning trainer knows exactly what is required.

Kimberlite Candy
Tom Lacey’s improving eight-year-old stayer won Warwick’s Classic Chase in fine style and sits neatly in the Randox Health Grand National weights on 10st 4lb. He is sure to get a run (36 on the entries list) and the JP McManus-owned gelding is a live contender for bonus points.

Latest Exhibition
It has been some time since Paul Nolan had a flagship Grade 1 prospect and Latest Exhibition is certainly that. He was impressive when landing a 2m6f Grade 1 at the Dublin Racing Festival and the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle is up next.

Solo
Hugely impressive in the Adonis at Kempton, Solo looks physically ahead of his four-year-old peers. The JCB Triumph Hurdle is well within his compass and if he wins that he would be short odds to follow up in the Grade 1 juvenile hurdle at Aintree.
