British racegoers could get a second glimpse of stunning seven-length Queen Mary Stakes winner Lady Aurelia after Wesley Ward revealed on Sunday that the Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket is on the agenda provided all goes well in the Prix Morny at Deauville on August 21.

The Racing Post Rating of 123 given to Lady Aurelia after a performance last month at Royal Ascot that had to be seen to be believed is the highest ever awarded to a two-year-old of either sex over five furlongs.

However, while the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes, for which she is second favourite behind Profitable in most lists, ought to be at her mercy, Ward intends relying on last year’s runner-up Acapulco in the York Group 1 and stretching Lady Aurelia’s stamina to six furlongs in the Morny - and then hopefully the Cheveley Park Stakes too.
